Today’s Word: SUBMITTING TO GOD: THE KEY TO DEVELOPING A GODLY CHARACTER (Part 13)

Today’s Bible Reference: Galatians 5:22-23 ICB – “But the spirit gives love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. There is no law that says these things are wrong.”

 

True evidence of walking in the Spirit is reflected in the excellence of our character. As we yield to the Holy Spirit, He refines us and shapes the character of Christ within us.

The true test of character emerges during moments of pressure. Who we are under stress reveals our essence. Joseph is a prime example of this principle. Despite immense pressure from Potiphar’s wife, Joseph upheld his integrity, choosing godliness over compromise, even at great personal cost.

A sound, godly character is essential to fulfilling our destiny, as God desires. By valuing His Word and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us, the character of Christ will be firmly established in us.

I pray for you, receive grace to spend time with God and experience his transforming power in Jesus’ name.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I am transformed daily to reflect the character of Christ.
