Today’s Bible Reference: Proverbs 28:18, ICB—”Innocent people will be kept safe. But those who are dishonest will suddenly be ruined.”

One of God’s generals that walked this earth, Billy Graham, once said, “If you lose money, you lose nothing. If you lose health, you lose something. But if you lose character, you lose everything.”

A person’s destiny and future depend on the strength and excellence of their character. Sadly, while many seek material blessings, fewer prioritize the transformative work of God’s Word on their character.

When we submit to God’s Word, obey His ways, and follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit, our character is refined from glory to glory. This transformation is essential to fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives.

Remember, your future depends on your character. The word of God must indeed influence the person you are becoming.

I am praying for you. Receive grace to submit wholeheartedly to the ways of the Lord.
