Today’s Word: SUBMITTING TO GOD: THE KEY TO DEVELOPING A GODLY CHARACTER (Part 5)

Today’s Bible Reference: Romans 12:2 (ICB)—“Do not be shaped with this world. Instead, be changed within by a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you. And you will be able to know what is good and pleasing to God and what is perfect.”

Certain expressions of God’s glory and responsibilities are unlocked only when we rise above specific moral weaknesses. Though God accepts us as we are, He desires to transform us into who He intends us to be.

The process of transformation requires submission to His wisdom and discipline. When we trust His guidance in all things, we experience His power working to reshape our character.

Dear friend, while where you live may reflect your wealth, how you live reflects your values.

Live as someone whom heaven will be proud of, someone submitted to the principles of Jesus as written in God’s word.

When we submit to godly values and exhibit godly character, we build a lasting legacy that generations after us will benefit from.

My prayer for you today is that generations after you will reap the benefits of your godly character in Jesus’ name.
