Today’s Word: SUBMITTING TO GOD: THE KEY TO DEVELOPING A GODLY CHARACTER (Part 7)

Today’s Bible Word: 1 Thessalonians 4:1, ICB—”Brothers, now I have some other things to tell you. We taught you how to live in a way that will please God. And you are living that way. Now we ask and encourage you in the Lord Jesus to live that way more and more.” – 

For every believer, God desires that our lives reflect His glory. As His children, He showcases us as models of godliness for others to emulate.

Just as Apostle Paul encouraged Timothy with the words, “Follow me as I follow Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1), we are called to live exemplary lives that align with God’s will.

This responsibility extends to each of us as believers to be true ambassadors in speech, conduct, and all areas of life.

Jesus emphasized in Matthew 5 that our good works should lead others to glorify God. Hence, we must live each day with the consciousness of representing Christ.

Dear friend, a life yielded to the Holy Spirit transforms us, making us bearers of His fruits. Through surrender and daily obedience, we grow into flawless representatives of Christ.

People may admire your abilities, gifts, and talents, but it is your character that secures lasting trust.

I pray for you that you will value character above gifts and talent; may you earn the trust of those around you.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

Holy Spirit, I submit all aspects of my life to you. Let your fruit be evident in my life today and always.
