Today’s Word: SUSTAINED BY FAITH

Today’s Bible Reference: Hebrews 11:6 (“ICB)—“Without faith, no one can please God. Anyone who comes to God must believe that He is real and that He rewards those who truly want to find Him.”

As we study the lives of the great fathers of faith in scripture, a common thread emerges: they believed that nothing was impossible for God. Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that faith is the foundation of our relationship with God. Without faith, it is impossible to walk with Him.

We see this truth in the life of Abraham. By faith, he obeyed God and followed Him even when the destination was unknown. Our confidence in God is central to our walk with Him. We must be guided, strengthened, and sustained by our faith.

We are called to remain firm in our belief that God will fulfil His promises, even when we don’t see the way. This is the kind of life God desires for us—one sustained by unshakable faith.

May God give us grace daily to continue to hold on to His promises at all times in Jesus’ name.
