Bible Text: “For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.” — Proverbs 24:16, NIV.

The greatest obstacle to your destiny and great future is not what you go through in life but how you allow the experience to control you.

There is nothing we will ever face in life that God’s grace will not help us overcome and rise above. Therefore, don’t let your past consume your mind, no matter how unpleasant. An unhealthy attachment to the past will prevent you from seeing the opportunities God has placed before you.

Maintain your faith in Christ by refusing to speak as a victim and instead speaking as a victor. This spiritual strategy is for taking control of negative situations and allowing God’s power to shine through you.

1. Prayerfully detach yourself from old hurts and pains.
2. Focus on God’s love and His commitment to your life.
3. Face each day with strength, hope, and positive expectations.
