Today’s Word: Thank God You Have Them.
Bible Reference: Proverbs 11:14, MSG – “Without good direction, people lose their way; the more wise counsel you follow, the better your chances.”
It’s a beautiful thing to have in your life mentors, pastors, friends, colleagues, loved ones, and people you can turn to for encouragement and counsel when you feel down or desire it. But the truth is, nobody owes you encouragement or counsel.
If you are privileged to have people in your life who provide these, always receive and celebrate them as a privilege. This mindset is important to keep your heart humble, free of offense, and free of a sense of entitlement. This approach will keep you grateful for the gift of good people in your life.
As often as you can, continue to thank God for the people he has positioned in your life who support you and propel you forward.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
Lord Jesus, I thank you for the relationships in my life. Thank you for the gift of good men and women in my life.
