Today’s Word: The Advantage Within (Part 4)
Today’s Bible Reading: Psalms 34:5 (NKJV) – “They looked to him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.”
The confidence of any person hangs on something. Any person you see acting and speaking with confidence, there is something they know, or there is something they have.
The Lord wants us to live with confidence, the kind of confidence that will command attention. This type of confidence is where you know that no matter what intimidates others, you are different. This was the kind of confidence David was speaking with that got Goliath’s attention.
With how David spoke, Goliath must have wondered, “Where is this guy’s confidence coming from?” David’s confidence betrayed his size and the physical weapons he had. His confidence was in the power of the Almighty God and His relationship with the Lord.
Dear friend, let your relationship with the Lord awaken a righteous confidence in you. Boast about it. Rejoice in it. Maximise it.
