TOPIC: THE ALMIGHTY GOD (PART 12)

Text: “But God is faithful…” – 2 Thessalonians 3:3

God’s integrity is a crucial foundation for our love and trust in him. According to scripture, our God has exalted and magnified his word above his name (Psalms 138:2). This is a true testimonial to his integrity and honour.

Furthermore, in Numbers 23:19, God’s word demonstrates his integrity to us. It says: “God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a human being, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it happen?”

This reveals that God is reliable. We can trust him and what he says in His Word.

Dear friend, our trust in other people grows as we spend time with them every day and get to know them better. The same is true for our faith in God. We trust Him when we know Him, and trusting Him means we know Him.

When we know Him, we may rest in His goodness, even when circumstances appear to contradict it.

Continue daily in your desire to know him better, and this will continue to feed your faith to trust in His faithfulness. Faith in God’s integrity is always safe.
