TOPIC: THE ALMIGHTY GOD (PART 2)

Text: “Oh, Lord God, you made the skies and earth. You made them with your very great power. There is nothing too wonderful for you to do.” – Jeremiah 32:17

 

When we refer to our God as the Almighty, we are testifying that there is nothing too hard for him to do. Even in our toughest and most challenging moments, we must remember that nothing is impossible for our God.

The scriptures remind us that the Almighty God promised Abraham that he would have a son in his old age. Sarah, Abraham’s wife, considered the promise laughable. Indeed, it appeared impossible because the odds were against them. However, Genesis 18:14 says, “Is there anything too hard for the Lord?” Certainly not. God kept his promise to them, and they welcomed a son called Isaac.

God’s power is supreme. He can do whatever he wants. He can surpass our expectations. No promise is too difficult for God to keep. No problem is too hard for God to solve. Our God specializes in things that appear impossible.

I want you to reflect on your own life while you meditate on Genesis 18:14. Is there anything you want from the Lord that appears to be taking too long?

I want you to remind yourself today that there is nothing your God cannot do. Let your faith be strengthened as you ask God to fulfil His word and your heart’s desires in the name of Jesus.

Indeed, there is nothing too hard for our God.
