TOPIC: THE ALMIGHTY GOD (PART 7)

Text: “The Lord is my rock, my protection, my saviour. My God is my rock. I can run to him for safety…” – Psalms 18:2, ICB.

Our God has many distinguishing characteristics that make him Lord, as well as many qualities that make him a good father. He is loving, comforting, and providing, but most importantly, our God never fails. He never forsakes His children.

Every believer in the Lord Jesus must understand that God will never abandon or leave us to ourselves.

God’s word reminds us in Psalms 25:3 that no one who trusts God will see shame.” According to Psalms 27:10, “If your father and mother leave you, the Lord will take you in.

One of the most beautiful descriptions of our God is that he is a rock. Isaiah 26:4 refers to him as the rock that never fails. ‬‬‬‬

As our rock, we can turn to him for anything. We will not only find safety and shelter in him, but we can be sure he will fight for us and watch over us. 

Dear friend, no matter what you are faced with, remember you have an invitation from the Lord to run to Him as your rock for safety, protection and help. No one will ever snatch you out of his hand.

Take some time to reflect on Psalms 23:1.
