TOPIC: THE ALMIGHTY GOD (PART 9)
Text: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. When you cross rivers, you will not drown…” – Isaiah 43:2, ICB.
When the Lord says he will always be with us, he means it and remains forever committed to it.
Challenges and challenging times are not proof that God has left you.
We must be careful not to allow the devil to sow seeds of fear and hopelessness in our hearts during difficult times, or else we may begin to accept his lies that either God has abandoned us or that he doesn’t want to help us.
While certain seasons may appear mysterious and challenging, and you may be wondering why God will allow certain things to happen to you, if only you would trust him in your darkest and most lonely moments, you would access the strength to go through it and come out stronger.
There is a strength that comes when we know that God is with us.
For the child of God, there will never be a day of your life where you will be all alone. God is always with you. His presence is always with you. His spirit is within you; you are in him, and he is in you.
In his integrity and because of our redemption, he has assured us in Hebrews 13:6, I will never leave you nor forsake you. We can trust His word.
We must live with the consciousness that God is our refuge, strength and ever-present help. He will give us strength to victoriously go through anything, and His help will come through for us.
The almighty God is our refuge.
