TOPIC: THE BLESSING OF FOCUS (Part 5)

Bible Text: “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” – Matthew 6:34 AMP.

Many talented and potentially successful individuals have failed due to a lack of focus. So many of us worry about so many things that we don’t do anything significant in the present. Some people were given great opportunities but mismanaged them due to a lack of focus. The discipline of focus is, indeed, a blessing. But, unfortunately, the lack of focus can make life a burden.

I would like us to consider the following lessons to improve our discipline of focus:

  1. We must live with a clear purpose in view. Living must have a clear purpose. There must be a clear reason for doing things. A strong sense of purpose is the foundation of every successful person or organisation.

  1. Know your strength and your weakness. Knowing your strengths and weaknesses is great. You must, however, decide how to prioritise each. Knowing yourself is important. The more you know about yourself, the better you will be at making decisions and making choices; you will know what to prioritise, what to avoid, when to say no and when to accept an opportunity.

TODAY’S DECLARATION:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that my flesh or my emotions do not lead me, but I hear the voice of the spirit, and I follow His leading.
