Topic: THE COMMANDED ATMOSPHERE (Part 4)

Text: “Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you…” – James 4:8, TPT.

 Daniel 3 tells us of three gentlemen who looked unassuming. There was nothing visibly spectacular about them—everyone who worked with or saw them viewed them as regular people. 

However, these were men who understood the power of God’s presence. We later read how they were punished for their righteous stand and thrown into a burning furnace, but the fire did not hurt them. They were preserved by God’s presence.

The testimony of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego was a product of a supernatural atmosphere over their lives; they entered the fire with their atmosphere and conquered what was meant to destroy them.

We can also experience the same dimension of God’s power as we become intentional about God’s presence.

You cannot be a Christian who hardly spends quality moments with the Lord and expect to command a supernatural atmosphere.

Every time we spend in fellowship with the Lord feeds us by His presence, strength is released into us, and the consciousness of our supernatural life is awakened.

Today’s Task:

Take some time to meditate on God’s Word in Acts 1:8.

No matter what you do in life, your number one desire and pursuit daily should be the presence of God.
