Topic: THE COMMANDED ATMOSPHERE (Part 9)

Text: “But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.” – Genesis 39:21.

Moses said to the Lord, “If your presence does not go with us, don’t allow us to go anywhere.” Moses understood the difference the presence of God makes. God’s presence in a life distinguishes a person from others.

The presence of God sets a person apart, and it distinguishes whatever you do.

As we understudy the earthly ministry of Jesus, we will observe that his exceptionality was because of God’s presence with him. He did exceptional things, he lived exceptionally, no one could kill him, and demons trembled when they saw him.

Several times, there was testimony of the divine presence he enjoyed. One of such testimony is recorded in John 3:2, where Nicodemus said to Jesus, “No one can do the miracles you do unless God is with him.”

Jesus commanded such a great atmosphere and incredible possibilities. There are possibilities that are effortless and consistent by God’s presence.

Dear friend, become more intentional about God’s presence. Your prayer should be to be more interested in God’s presence than material things. Carriers of divine presence are natural commanders of God’s power.

Take some time to meditate on God’s Word in 1 John 4:4.
