Topic: THE DANGER OF PRAYERLESSNESS (Part 10)

Text: “Call to me, and I will answer you and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things…” – Jeremiah 33:3, AMP.

We are not saved to live independently of God’s help. In all areas of our lives, we need God’s guidance.

The good thing is that the Lord has given us the liberty and privilege to invite him into our battles, challenges, and limitations. He has created the platform of prayer for this to be achieved. He admonishes us in his word, saying we should call on him; he will answer us and show us great and mighty things.

So, a disadvantage of prayerlessness is that we make ourselves fight our battles alone. This is the recipe for defeat, frustration, and needless pain.

The scripture reminds us in 1 Samuel 2:9 that by strength shall no man prevail. As we give ourselves to prayer, we invite and involve God in all we go through. It pays to pray. We are aligned for victory when we pray.

Is there something that’s troubling you? Invite God to take over.
