Topic: THE DANGER OF PRAYERLESSNESS (Part 4)

Text: “The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit.” – Romans 8:14, TPT.

Science tells us that the human body has five basic senses: vision, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. All of these senses are important to our daily lives.

However, everyone with the Holy Spirit is not limited to these five senses; we are privileged to have the impulse of the Holy Spirit, which overrides these other basic senses of the human body.

Sometimes, your body will not be able to pick certain things, but the Holy Spirit will minister these things to you, only for your body to confirm them much later.

One way we can stay alive to the impulses of the Holy Spirit is by maintaining consistency in our prayer life.

A significant danger of prayerlessness is weak or zero discernment, where a person cannot receive or be led by the Holy Spirit.

God wants to lead us daily, but we must sharpen our Spirit in the place of prayer to stay awakened to the impulse and ministrations of the Spirit.

Today’s Task:

Spend some time today praying that the Lord will increase your appetite and desire to learn more about effective prayer.
