Topic: THE DANGER OF PRAYERLESSNESS (Part 8)

Text: “But you beloved, build yourselves up on the foundation of your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an edifice, higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit.” – Jude 1:20, AMP.

One key understanding we must have about our God is that he wants us to be better every day and in every way. This is why he leads us to his word and guides us. He wants us to be fruitful and to consistently advance in every good way.

But here is an important secret of prayer: prayer sustains hunger for growth and improvement. 

As we stay consistent in prayer, the Holy Spirit activates and sustains in us the hunger to be and to do more, and he guides us on how to come into these manifestations of growth.

So, a believer who is comfortable with prayerlessness is losing too much. You would be comfortable at a level, not knowing that God is calling you to higher levels.

As we maintain a culture of prayer, the Lord continually strengthens us for all-round improvement. Indeed, it pays to pray.
