Today’s Word: THE FAITH ADVANTAGE

Today’s Bible Reference: Hebrews 11:2 AMP – “For by this [kind of] faith the men of old gained [divine] approval.”

Faith in God is necessary for daily living because it is needed for daily victories.

Faith in God implies focus on God, his word, his testimonies, his promises and so on. This is the right focus needed to overthrow mountains and attain victories regardless of storms, seasons, or opposition. Faith in God empowers and emboldens.

However, Faith in God grows and is strengthened on a daily basis. The word of God serves as food for faith. God’s word tells us that faith comes from hearing the word of God. (Romans 10:17.)

To build faith, you must be intentional about what you feed your heart daily. Whatever you pay attention to is food for your heart.

Be intentional about giving attention each day to God’s word and His perspective on things, and focus on things that edify your Spirit. No matter what comes your way, the word of God rich in your heart will supply the wisdom that will guide your actions, choices, and direction.

As we intentionally pay attention to God’s word, we will continue to grow in faith, influencing how we live our lives.

As we live a life of faith, we can maximise every moment, and we can be active participants in what God is doing.
