Topic: THE GLORY OF KINGDOM SERVICE (Part 1)

Text: “So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He shall bless your bread and your water.” – Exodus 23:25.

The term “servant of God” is one of the most notable terms in scripture. This is one of the greatest honours anyone can receive as God’s child: to serve God’s vision and promote God’s purpose.

Abraham was described as a servant of God.  In Genesis 26:24, the word of the Lord came to Isaac, “…I will bless and multiply your descendants for my servant, Abraham’s sake.” God recognised Abraham as his servant, and Isaac would benefit from his father’s example of service to God.

Every truly great person in the kingdom is a servant; service to God is proof of deep knowledge of God. Service to God is proof of surrender to God.

We must reject every excuse to remove ourselves from kingdom service; there is glory in kingdom service.

What is that thing preventing you from giving you all to kingdom service? Talk to God about it today.

In the name of Jesus, God’s kingdom is advancing, and nothing can stand against God’s purpose for my generation.
