Today’s Word: THE GLORY OF SPIRITUAL MATURITY (Part 4)

Today’s Bible Reference: John 5:19 (ICB) – “But Jesus said I tell you the truth. The Son can do nothing alone. The Son does only what he sees the Father doing. The Son does whatever the Father does.”

As Jesus walked on earth, he lived such a supernatural life. Even though he lived in contemporary times with its associated challenges, he was an effortless natural expression of the supernatural life. He saw things and situations the way the Father saw; He did only what the Father wanted. He honoured the Father in all things.

Jesus gave expression and modelled to us the supernatural life; one that does not compromise or succumb to the pressure of the times.

As God’s children, this must be the joy of our hearts – to see how God sees and to delight in the things God delights in, and for us to be expressions of the supernatural life to everyone who comes in contact with us.

When people observe and relate to us, they should be filled with a righteous longing and curiosity about God. This supernatural life can only become our reality as we surrender more and more to God’s influence every day.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that my life awakens a righteous desire and hunger for God in others.
