Today’s Word: THE GLORY OF SPIRITUAL MATURITY (Part 9)

Today’s Bible Reference: Colossians 2:8 (NLT) – “Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. 

One way we grow in spiritual stature is demonstrated by our value for the word of God. Anyone who devalues, mocks, or has become too busy to stay with God’s word will not attain depths of spiritual maturity or walk in the wisdom God desires.

As we continue to allow God’s word to influence our lives and belief system, there are things that may have previously destabilised us, but because of our spiritual growth and knowledge of God’s word, we are now able to stand firm and maintain the right spiritual atmosphere for miracles and supernatural manifestations in such a situation.

There are things that can make a child afraid, but when the same scenario confronts an adult, they are calm because they know and see better than a child.

There is a glory that awaits the believer who pursues spiritual maturity; let’s press daily to know God better and yield to the influence of his Spirit every day.

Today, I declare that I am growing in my understanding of the ways of God and Jesus Christ is winning and prevailing in every aspect of my life.
