Topic: THE HAND OF HELP (Part 10)

Text: “Do not be interested only in your own life but be interested in the lives of others.” – Philippians 2:4, ICB.

While many consider it wisdom to withhold opportunities from others, it is not the way of the righteous.

We must not withhold good from anyone when it’s in our power to do it. (Proverbs 3:27).

God’s word tells us that when we know something is right and refuse to do it, we have sinned (James 4:17).

As the Lord gives us the opportunity to be a blessing and a source of upliftment to others, we must be willing to extend kindness to them.

Consider it a joy to recommend people for bigger opportunities, platforms and privileges that will change their lives.

Indeed, some people will quickly forget your acts of kindness, while others will refuse to acknowledge your role(s) in their lives, but this should not discourage you.

Your satisfaction must always be that God gave you the opportunity to be a blessing, and you obeyed God. There is a sure reward for our obedience.

God’s counsel to us today is to continue to extend a helping hand to those around us as He gives us grace.

Is there anyone you’ve helped who disappointed you in any way? Release the hurt from your heart today and pray for them.
