TOPIC: THE HAND OF HELP (Part 11)

Text: “Be happy with those who are happy…” – Romans 12:15, ICB.

Many times, it is because we are unaware of our importance that is why we view the success of others wrongly or negatively.

The eye and mouth have different functions, although they are both crucial. It would be inappropriate for the eyes to envy the mouth’s contribution and vice versa. They are both significant and doing awesome jobs.

Whatever God is doing in your life is amazing, and what God is doing in the lives of others is equally lovely.

Reject the unprofitable voice that wants to distract or make you jealous because jealousy is the result of distraction.

When you begin to look away from God’s goodness in your life and get uncomfortable about the good things happening to others, you have surrendered to distraction.

Dear friend, our God is good. He is at work in your life and others. You will continue to succeed in His desire for your life if you maintain a righteous focus on Him and refuse to let your joy be polluted.

Begin to recognise the beautiful things God is doing in your life. Also, what God is doing in others is equally wonderful; continue to rejoice in it.

If someone around you is doing well in their business or career, celebrate with them. And if they are Christians, your joy must be doubled since you are witness to the testimonies of God’s wonders.

Dear friend, you will maintain spiritual health as you sustain joy for God’s goodness in your life and his wonders in other people.

TODAY’S TASK:

Ask the Lord to purge your heart against jealousy towards anyone’s success or growth.

Please don’t sink anyone’s boat. The ocean is big enough for everyone to sail without any problems.
