Topic: THE HAND OF HELP (Part 3)

Text: “Be imitators of God in everything you do, for then you will represent your Father as his beloved sons and daughters.” – Ephesians 5:1, TPT.

As we allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives, he creates fruit. He imparts love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are some benefits of yielding to the Holy Spirit’s leadership and authority and having him as the most important influence in our lives.

I would want to focus on one of the fruits of the spirit: kindness.

Kindness involves performing thoughtful acts for others that are not motivated by selfish ambition or deception but rather by a genuine concern for the well-being of others.

Kindness is the humble giving of oneself in love and mercy to others who may be unable to reciprocate.

Dear friend, we live in a time where kindness and good individuals are few. It is so bad that some individuals misinterpret kindness as weakness.

Kindness is God’s way of life, which he wants us to embrace and reflect. This is the only way to experience true happiness. People may sometimes take our goodness for granted, but we must not allow this to affect us negatively.

God wants us to be tools for extending his kindness and love to our world. We must continue to share God’s light and compassion with others. We are His offspring and must continue to reflect His goodness despite the darkness, selfishness and greed in the world.

TODAY’S TASK

Ask God for wisdom to be an inspiration to others in kingdom service.
