Topic: THE HOLY SPIRIT AND YOU  (Part 1)

Text: “But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses [to tell people about me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8.

As believers of Jesus Christ, we are meant to let other people know about Jesus and win souls to the kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit empowers us to be effective witnesses, leading people to Christ and convicting them of their sins.

The Holy Spirit is the power of God in a person; he is God living in us. We are God’s temple because the Holy Spirit lives within us. He empowers us to do God’s work and carry out God’s will while transforming us into who he wants us to be.

The Holy Spirit has a personal ministry to every believer; his presence in our lives is important if we are to live the quality of life for which we were saved and redeemed.

Indeed, we are able to experience the pleasure of waking with God through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
