Topic: THE HOLY SPIRIT AND YOU (Part 5)

Text: “But I tell you the truth. It is better for you that I go away. When I go away, I will send the Helper to you. If I do not go away, then the Helper will not come.”

 

The Holy Spirit is our Helper. Today’s verse in the Passion Bible translation refers to the Holy Spirit as the Divine Encourager, while the King James Version refers to him as the Comforter.

The Holy Spirit is a friend in times of need, as well as a teacher and guide. He reveals Jesus to us, as the Bible says in John 16:13 ICB, “But when the Spirit of truth comes, he will lead you into all truth. He will not speak his own words. He will speak only what he hears and will tell you what is to come.”‬‬

Dear friend, call on the Holy Spirit if you are feeling down and discouraged. He will comfort you. 

If you have struggles understanding the will of God, ask the Holy Spirit to make the will of God plain to you. Ask Him to help you understand God’s mind at all times.

You can ask the Holy Spirit for help with anything. If you feel confused and unsure where to go, he will direct you how you should go. Seek his help today.

Take some time to reflect on Romans 8:8.
