One of the most beautiful ways to express God’s Love is through service. It could be serving the community, your spouse, your marriage, or any other opportunity the Lord provides.

We must serve others in humility while remaining completely focused on Christ, realising that we are demonstrating our Love for God as we serve others.

We are to serve others with our abilities, gifts, spiritual gifts, and any other godly way. An essential desire we should have is to improve and simplify the lives of others for the glory of God.

However, as you serve others, you must also learn the wisdom of balance so that you do not become drained and fatigued.

Many people have become bitter in their places of service due to stress and a lack of wisdom for balance. We must learn to rest and refresh.

One way we find rest and refreshment is in the presence of God. When you feel drained, run to the one who restores and replenishes; he will restore you while adjusting your perspective if it becomes distorted or negatively impacted while serving.

God has asked us to serve others in humility and Love, but he does not want us to do so without him. He always wants to help, strengthen, and empower us in our service.

Ask the Lord to strengthen you for service—service in humility, consistent service, and service filled with Love.

Humility is not weakness, nor is it foolishness. But humility is the ability to control your strength and use it to help and not hurt those weaker than you.
