Topic: THE LOVE CODE (Part 7)

Text: “If anyone sees a fellow believer in need and has the means to help, yet shows no pity and closes his heart against him, how is it even possible that God’s love lives in him?” – 1 John 3:17, TPT.

One of the ways we demonstrate God’s Love is by meeting the needs of others in the best way we can. If you see someone in need and are in a position to help but refuse, then you do not have God’s Love in your heart.

When you read the book of James, he discusses putting your faith into action. According to James 2:17, “Faith without action is dead.” Interestingly, one of the topics addressed in James 2 is how we should deal with those in need.

At your current level, you have something that can be a blessing to others. There is someone in need around you who you can bless.

God’s word says in Proverbs 19:17, ”Every time you give to the poor, you make a loan to the Lord. Don’t worry—you’ll be repaid in full for all the good you’ve done.“

Look around; there is someone you can bless. I know you have major needs, but while God perfects what concerns you and makes things right in your life, be busy being a blessing to others in the little ways you can. Be the reason someone smiles.

Be the reason a family does not go to bed hungry. Help others see God’s Love for them.‬‬ There must be works that bear witness to our faith and the Love of God that resides in our hearts.

Identify two families or individuals you will be a blessing to this month.

Whatever you do for others, you create room for its multiplied manifestations in your life.

I declare that I am a blessing to those around me. Through my words and actions, the weak are strengthened, and the hopeless are encouraged, in Jesus’ name.
