Topic: THE LOVE CODE (Part 8)

Text: “…So make sure that you also excel in grace-filled generosity.” – 2 Corinthians 8:7, TPT.

God has a heart for the poor and cares about how they are treated. He is concerned about their welfare.

God cares about those who appear to be at a disadvantage in life and wants us to love and care for them. When a person speaks disparagingly about the poor or weak, it demonstrates spiritual immaturity.

One of God’s primary desires for us is that others encounter his Love through us. We are to share God’s Love with others, particularly the weak and needy.

I want to remind you of today’s bible text. It is from 2 Corinthians 8:7. It says, “You are rich in everything—in faith, in speaking, in knowledge, in truly wanting to help, and in the Love you learned from us. And so we want you to be rich also in this gift of giving.“

We must be generous in our giving, providing material goods, hope, encouragement, and direction.

We must take care not to oppress, intimidate, or weaken the poor. Never take advantage of a person in need. Never offer difficult conditions before assisting anyone. Be intentional about showing God’s Love to those in need. Let your actions strengthen someone’s faith and Love for God.

TODAY’S TASK

Ask the Lord to fill you with passion and compassion to help the weak, vulnerable and needy around you.

WISDOM PUSH

We will find it easier to love someone if we pray for them.

In the name of Jesus, the Love of God flows through my life to others without any hindrance.
