Topic: THE LOVE CODE (Part 9)

Text: “Let the wicked leave (behind) his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return to the Lord, and He will have compassion (mercy) on him…” – Isaiah 55:7, AMP.

One of the most important truths you should know as a Christian is that God loves everyone, including unbelievers. I am including the person who comes to mind when you think of a “wicked and heartless person.” God loves them.

God’s Love for them is not that they should continue to be sinners but that they will realise that they are loved and that God has something better for them.

However, God will not come down to tell them about His love. He wants to talk to them about his Love through our lives. God wants to use you as a vessel and a mouthpiece to tell an unbeliever that he loves them.

This understanding is important because some Christians are the ones who will send many unbelievers to hell and condemnation. We have either given up on them when God hasn’t, or we are refusing to tell them about the Love of God, or perhaps we are ashamed or afraid to talk to them about the Love of Jesus.

I repeat some of us will be responsible for sending many people to hell as a result of our refusals to tell them about the Love of God.

So, what is God saying to you through this teaching? He wants you to awaken to your responsibility. He wants an unsaved person to come to Him because of your determined efforts. He wants you not to be ashamed of him before others. 

One way we demonstrate God’s Love is to consistently and committedly reach out to the unsaved. God has condemned no one, and we must see them as the Father does.

TODAY’S TASK:

Check to see if you are personally committed to soul-winning. If not, repent now and make amends. If you already have good results, review your strategies and commit to improving them.

WISDOM PUSH

As our Love for God grows, we find it easier to love others sacrificially.

TODAY’S DECLARATION

Lord Jesus, thank you for reminding me of the importance of winning the unsaved and bringing them to the light. Lord Jesus, help me to be faithful with this.
