Topic: THE MASTER’S HARVEST (Part 3)

Text: The harvesters are paid good wages, the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and harvester alike”- John 4:36, NLT.

The book of John 4:37-38 says: “One plants and another harvests…I sent you to harvest where you didn’t plant; others have already done the work, and now you will get to gather the harvest”.

Have you tried to share the gospel with someone or invite someone to church, but they rejected you? 

Perhaps you went out on evangelism and preached to different people, but no one gave their life to Christ that day. 

Do not be discouraged; you have planted a seed of God’s word. It will grow in their heart, and one day, there will be a harvest of their soul. 

There are times when we harvest a soul when others have planted the seed of God’s word and prayers over that person for a long time, and there are also times when we only get to sow the seed, and someone else will ‘reap’ the harvest. 

If you are the one who leads the soul to Christ or you share the gospel with someone, the Father’s reward is waiting for you. Heaven is waiting to throw a celebration in your honour as you win a soul to God’s kingdom.

The soul you win or don’t win, even after sharing God’s word with them, attracts God’s reward.
