Topic: THE MIND OF LEADERSHIP (Part 3)

Text: “When you do things, do not let selfishness or pride be your guide. Be humble and give more honour to others than to yourselves.” – Philippians 2:3, ICB.

Jesus’s leadership story is one of the most inspiring to read. He chose people who were literally nobodies and told them they could be so much more if they let him lead them. He was able to paint great pictures in their hearts of the greatness that awaits them if they simply accept his guidance. 

Jesus inspired these ordinary men to become exceptional people, and many years later, those who saw these unlearned men marvelled at what they saw, testifying that Christ had transformed these guys. (Acts 4:13). Jesus modelled inspirational leadership.

Dear friends, inspiration is powerful. When a person is inspired, they are driven to achieve great things. Inspiration has a way of propelling a person to great heights of success and achievement.

You will always get better results from someone inspired to work than from someone forced to work.

This is what sets great leaders apart from others. Great leaders understand how to inspire others to accomplish great goals and improve themselves.

While some leaders exercise absolute authority over others, exceptional leaders focus on inspiring and influencing people to take action. As a result, they effortlessly earn the people’s followership, loyalty, and respect. Everyone wants to be around people who make them feel and grow better.

Dear friend, I am confident that you and I can excel as leaders no matter where we are. To provide effective leadership, we must be able to connect, motivate, and inspire others while also creating a sense of shared ownership of the vision, goals, and objectives.

I pray that the Lord will continue to fill you with wisdom so you can continue inspiring those around you.

Think of three leaders who have inspired you to be a better person in your field or as a Christian. Thank God for them.

WISDOM PUSH

A leadership position or title does not imply that you are leading. Someone can have a title while failing to provide leadership. Leadership is all about inspiration, influence, and impact.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I am God’s light in my field/industry, and people are encountering God through my life.
