Today’s Word: The Old and the New (Part 13)

Bible Reference: 1 Kings 13:1-30.

A generation that refuses to learn from the older generation will repeat their mistakes. No matter how much you feel you know or have experienced, there are valuable lessons to learn from the older generation.

Observe their lives, learn from their wisdom, passion, and principles, and avoid their mistakes. Possibly, if the young prophet had carefully examined the life of the older prophet, he would have operated with better discernment.

The older generation needs to learn certain things from the younger generation to remain relevant and to better connect with them, while the younger generation also has values and lessons to learn from the older generation.

Your desire must be to improve on whatever those who came before you have done and to leave good inspirations for those who come after you.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I have a teachable spirit, and I am not a slave to my emotions.
