Today’s Word: The Old and the New (Part 3)

Bible Reference: 1 Kings 13:1-30.

We learn from our Bible Reference that the old prophet persuaded the young prophet to go against what God had told him. He told the young prophet. ‘I am also a prophet like you…’

Dear friend, be careful of people who twist and manipulate the word of God to make you compromise. It is not everyone who comes in the name of the Lord that truly honours the Lord. 

Be careful that you don’t drink poison because it was served with the cup of religion.

The young prophet ended badly because he fell for the distraction that came from the old prophet.

I am praying for you that you will not be a victim of deception and manipulation.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that the Word of God rules and reigns in my life.
