Today’s Word: The Old and the New (Part 5)

Bible Reference: 1 Kings 13:1-30.

Dear friend, you must refuse to ever come to a point where you stop inquiring from the Lord about decisions, seasons, and instructions. It doesn’t matter how many times you hear your pastors daily or weekly; you must have a daily burning and ever-fresh walk with the Lord.

In our Bible reference, the old prophet came to the young prophet to give a contrary instruction, using the name of the LORD, and this was different from what God had instructed the young prophet.

The young prophet gave up his responsibility to seek God’s will on the critical matter brought before him. He abandoned that role to the old prophet. Don’t stop seeking God. Don’t stop waiting on the Lord. Whatever is suggested or presented to you that is clear, seek God.

There is no person or voice in your life that God has sent to you to replace Him in your life.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that my zeal for God and for his leading is stronger and better daily.
