Today’s Word: The Old and the New (Part 8)

Bible Reference: 1 Kings 13:1-30.

As we carefully examine our Bible reference, you will observe that the old prophet is not referred to as a ‘man of God’ throughout the account; he is simply referred to as ‘old prophet.’ God had looked away from him and started raising new prophets.

I want to encourage you to take submission to God very seriously. Take your consecration seriously. When a person starts messing up, God starts raising their replacements. Refuse to get to a point in your life where God will have to look away from you to use others. Stay humble. Keep your fire burning. Press into God daily with a desire to know him more.
