Today’s Word: THE POWER OF THE BLESSING (Part 1)

Today’s Bible Reference: “The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.” – Proverbs 10:22, NLT.

Among the great characters mentioned in the Scriptures, one stands out for his unique account: his name is Job.

This man’s story begins with a testimony of his character. The scriptures describe him as blameless, upright and one who feared God and stayed away from evil. He was the most influential man in the East.

But it is important to note that everything he had was due to the Lord’s blessing in his life—they were God’s response to a man who prioritised God over everything else.

Satan once told God, “I haven’t been able to touch Job because of the blessing you’ve bestowed upon him.” So Job’s blessing didn’t just make him wealthy; it also brought a layer of safety to his life.

There is power in the blessing; it doesn’t just give you things – it protects you. Blessed people cannot be molested by the enemy. May God’s blessing continue to speak upon your life.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I am blessed, and no curse can stand against me.
