Today’s Word: THE POWER OF THE BLESSING (Part 5)
Today’s Bible Reference: “If you will only obey me, you will have plenty to eat.” – Isaiah 1:19, NLT.
While every child of God is blessed, we will see greater experiences with the manifestations of the blessings as we walk in obedience to God.
There are expressions of God’s blessing that we will begin to experience as we honour His word. Sadly, many believers do not commit to honouring God’s word. The scriptures tell us in James 1:22 that there are people who are hearers but not doers of the word.
As you study God’s word in Deuteronomy 28, you will observe some great blessings outlined as we honour God’s word. The counsel given in that chapter of the Bible is still valid today.
Our obedience does not convince God to bless us, but as we honour God’s word through obedience, we live with wisdom and do things that bring us into what God has prepared for us.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
In the name of Jesus, I declare that I am alive to God’s instructions, and I joyfully obey His Word.
