Topic: THE RELEVANCE OF GOD’S PRESENCE (Part 5)

Text: “On the third day there was a wedding at Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there, and both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.” – John 2:1-2, AMP.

When we talk about people who put a high value on God’s presence, David is an inspiring example, and we can see how God’s presence worked wonders in his life. David achieved a lot and became great because of his value for the presence of God (2 Samuel 5:10, 2 Samuel 22:30, 1 Samuel 17:45, 1 Samuel 18:14). He was always proud to brag about the blessing of God’s presence. He declared in Psalms 23:4, “even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.” David’s value for God’s presence made him a man of great value.

We must intentionally start expressing value for God’s presence, and we will begin to experience the power of his presence. David had such an incredible value for God’s presence, and the beautiful testimonies he began to enjoy were mainly because the Lord was with him (1 Samuel 18:12 and 14). You will see the fruits as you give value to God’s presence.

You will notice the following when you make God’s presence your top priority.

1. Peace from within (Isaiah 26:3)
2. Boldness (Acts 4:13)
3. Consistent growth in faith. (Roman’s 10:17)
4. Power over the control of the flesh. (Galatians 5:16)

WISDOM PUSH:

1. Nothing and no one in your life should make you undervalue the presence of God.
2. Let your love and passion for God shine through everything you do.

TODAY’S PRAYER

In the name of Jesus, my appetite and hunger for the presence of God is renewed and strengthened today.
