Topic:   THE RIGHT PERSPECTIVE (Part 2)

Text: “I really understand now that to God every person is the same.” – Acts 10: 34, ICB.

As we study the account of the early church, we discover that Peter had a wrong belief that the gospel was meant for Jews only, but God opened his eyes to the truth.

Is there someone you know who you believe is unworthy of hearing the gospel and accepting Jesus as their saviour? Possibly, you know of some terrible things they have done.

Perhaps some people speak a different language than you or come from a different race or nationality, and you know they are looked down on or even disliked despite being believers. This is a wrong and ungodly perspective, and you must condemn it.

We must love and see people through the eyes of Christ. We must be willing and ready to preach the gospel to anyone and everyone. It is a command we must obey.

We must love as Jesus loves; Jesus Christ must be seen through our lives.

Today’s Task:

Take some time to reflect on how you’ve treated fellow believers. Is there anyone you’ve looked down on? Repent and do something nice for them.

Wisdom Push:

Anyone who accepts and submits to Jesus Christ as Lord is accepted by God. Their nationality and previous actions are irrelevant.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that as I step out today, I am led to those who need to experience God’s love from me.
