TOPIC: THE RIGHT PRIORITIES (Part 3)

TEXT: “You are not the same as those who do not believe. So do not join yourselves to them. Good and bad do not belong together…” – 2 Corinthians 6:14, ICB.

One of the most important disciplines a person can cultivate is the ability to control who and what influences them. You must be intentional about your influences. God’s word tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:14 that we must be careful about mismatched alliances.

We must be vigilant and cautious about the things and people influencing us. Some marriages are on the verge of ending due to negative influences. Some people have made disastrous financial decisions due to negative influences.

To become everything God desires for us, we must be intentional about our influences.

Those you look up to will determine what your life will look like. Be intentional and talk to God about those who influence your life. Whatever you involve the Holy Spirit in, He will provide leadership.
