Today’s Word: The Unprofitable Servant (Part 1)

Today’s Bible Reference: John 15: 16 (ICB) – “You did not choose me, but I chose you. And I gave this work to go and produce fruit. I want you to produce fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you anything that you ask for in my name.”

If you run a business or a company, you expect a profit or returns on the products, goods or services you provide. Thriving organisations make profits, not losses.

It is the same in God’s kingdom; God has brought us in as his sons, and he expects us to produce profit and increase through our lives, character and winning souls to God’s kingdom.

Take stock of your life, do a spiritual audit or review; ask yourself, is my life profitable to God? Am I living with a consciousness of bringing profit to God? Am I living for God’s glory or living for myself? 

Answer these questions honestly and make adjustments where necessary. You must be a profitable believer.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

In the name of Jesus, today I receive wisdom and grace to live a life that truly points others to the Lord Jesus. Lord, may my life bring glory to you every day.
