Topic: THE WAIT IS WORTH IT

Text: “He who doubts is thinking two different things at the same time. He cannot decide about anything he does. A person like that should not think that he will receive anything from the Lord.” – James 1:7-8, ICB.

It has been said that God answers every prayer, but all his responses can be grouped into four answers: ‘Yes’, ‘No’, ‘Wait’, or ‘Not now’. 

The waiting period is often the most difficult for believers; even Abraham, the father of faith gave in to pressure from Sarah and had Ishmael outside of the covenant, which caused problems much later.

God is faithful, and his promises will always come true. Though the waiting period may be challenging, it is better and surer with less problems and peace of mind.

We can draw inspiration from David’s testimony; by waiting for God, he became King with a promise to have a descendant on the throne forever.

It pays to wait on God; your waiting time is not wasted.

Today’s Task: 

Is there something you have been believing God for, and it seems like it’s taking forever? Remind yourself today that God is too faithful to fail.

You gain more when you trust and wait for God.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that my expectations will not fail; they shall come to pass.
