Topic: THE WALL AROUND US (Part 2)

Text: “You have put a wall around him, his family and everything he owns…” Job 1:10, ICB.

 

The wall that covers us is supernatural; it hinders the enemy from afflicting or molesting a child of God. Knowing this truth is important.

The enemy knows there is a wall that covers you, but he wants you to doubt it. In Exodus 12, it is documented that the Lord instructed that the blood of lambs was to be sprinkled on the doorframes, and this was to spare God’s children from destruction. No destructive plague was permitted to touch them because of the blood over their dwelling.

The sprinkling of the blood of the lamb was typical of the sprinkling of the blood of Christ upon the hearts and consciences of his people, and because of this, my peace, safety, and security are guaranteed by him.

For every believer in the Lord Jesus, a wall covers you; you are protected and secured. Know this and enjoy God’s peace.

From the word of God, locate three of God’s promises to you in trying times.

The enemy’s strength is fear; God does not want you to be afraid of tomorrow or what the enemy can do.
