Topic: THE WALL AROUND US (Part 7)

Text: “I said, ‘You are gods. You are all sons of the Most High.” – Psalms 82:6, ICB.

A believer’s confidence cannot be explained without reference to Christ.

A Christian’s confidence is based on understanding God’s integrity and love. It is easy for anyone to fake confidence and act all right, but this doesn’t last for long when the real fire of life surfaces, as it would.

One awesome truth every Christian should rejoice in is that God does not just protect us from evil; he also provides counsel to us through his Spirit.

So, not only does he protect from without, but he provides wisdom from within through the leading of his Spirit.

Knowing this should feed your confidence every day; refuse to be moved or shaken by anything. Refuse for anything to destabilise you or make you feel there is no way out of any challenge.

Our God is always able to save us from the fears that threaten us, not only by intervening to guard us from harm’s way but also by guiding us out of trouble. Focus on this truth and continue to boldly declare, “There is a wall around me.”

Take some time to meditate on Philippians 4:4.

If you are not living a joyful life, you are living outside the will of God. God wants us to live in joy, no matter what.

Lord Jesus, I ask that you open my eyes to what I am doing wrong that is working against your desire for my life.
