Topic: THE WALL AROUND US (Part 9)

Text: “Do not give the devil a way to defeat you.” – Ephesians 4:27, ICB.

While it is good to be grateful as a Christian because the Lord has built a wall around us that guarantees our protection through the blood of Jesus, we must also recognise that if we allow it, this protection may be compromised and open to the desires of the enemy against us.

Dear friend, it is not God that compromises the wall of protection around us, and the enemy does not have the power to compromise our protection. We are the ones who have the power to compromise the wall the Lord has placed around us.

We are counselled from God’s word in Ecclesiastes 10:8 ICB: “Anyone who digs a pit might fall into it. Anyone who knocks down a wall might be bitten by a snake.”

We can sustain the integrity and spiritual force of the wall God placed around us by ensuring we continue to walk in the way of the Lord. Consciously take God seriously so the enemy does not take you as a joke. Walk daily in the fear of God and holiness, and you won’t empower the enemy to successfully come against you.

Dear friends, we must intentionally decide not to compromise the wall the Lord has placed around us.

Take some time to meditate on Romans 10:13.

Our relationship with God gives us legal authority against anything the enemy is doing anywhere.
