Text: “Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new person. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17, TPT.

One of the greatest deceptions that a Christian can fall for is to assume that after accepting Christ, you are the same as every other person.

So, you find a believer still afraid that what defeated their fathers and mothers will defeat them also. The devil uses this fear to challenge and weaken our authority against all He is doing. The devil seeks you to make you feel that nothing is different and special about you so that you will not rise to the demands and the glory of your new identity.

Dear friend, because you are in Christ, you are not alone and will never be alone. Your life and future are not at the mercy of the devil.

Now, you have the authority to address and reject anything you don’t like about your biological family and to declare that it will not be extended or fulfilled in your life in Jesus’ name.
