Topic: THE WAY OF THE BELIEVER (Part 6)

Text: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16. NKJV.

There are the undeniable fruits of a life that is yielded and surrendered to the Lord Jesus.

As we come to the Lord, he doesn’t leave us the same way we came. His word directs the course of our lives, causing us to manifest the character and nature of Christ.

These fruits in the life of a believer are the reflections of the inner working of the Holy Spirit, which empowers a person with superior wisdom for dignified and profitable living.

When a person is truly yielded to the Lord Jesus, some things should no longer appeal to you because the part of you that such things appeal to is now dead in Christ.

As Christians, we see, feel and experience the world differently. We have a much deeper and meaningful way of living. The appetites that must be sustained in us must be righteous desires.

Dear friends, as faithful believers, we must not only be interested in the blessings of the Lord but also be committed to the way and desires of the Lord.

The beautiful transforming work of the Holy Spirit must be revealed through our lives. Everyone that comes in contact with us should see Jesus in our lives.
