TOPIC: THERE IS A LESSON TO LEARN
TEXT: “I say this because I know what I have planned for you, says the Lord. I have good plans for you. I don’t plan to hurt you. I plan to give you hope and a good future.” – Jeremiah 29:11, ICB.

For everything we go through, regardless of how it looks and feels, God uses it for our advantage. There is a blessing to receive and a lesson to learn in every condition of life. Your pain will never go wasted, and your delay will not be in vain. God will use what seemed to have been a misfortune to bless you and others through you.

For the believer, nothing is in vain. Scripture tells us that through His sufferings, Jesus learned what it meant to obey God (Hebrews 5:8). The journey of the Israelites in the wilderness was to build their character. It was also to teach them to trust God more and that they couldn’t depend on bread alone but on God’s Word.

Even in our disappointment and distress, our Father uses it to help and develop us. God teaches us to live by faith when things don’t go as we plan.

No matter the issues, do not cast away your confidence in God. Believe that God is up to something good in your life, and as you maintain this healthy perspective, you will be able to receive what God is offering you through the experience and situation. Nothing should make you doubt God’s commitment to your life. He is forever committed to you.
